Activities
- Sketch out the mind map -- a preliminary site map -- for your GROUP Project. You may use your choice of tools to create your mind map. If you create your mind map by hand, scan or photograph your work. Reduce the size of your image to a manageable size. The purpose of this assignment is for you to brainstorm how many pages you will need for your website and how you will organize these pages.
- EACH person create a home page sketch for your final project.
(You will share your design sketch with your team next class. Sketch can be in the computer or just pen/pencil sketch. Be sure to include details such as navigation elements, titles , and if you propose to use an image, include a description or rough sketch of the image you will be using.) - Revise your design sketch to match the newly created site map (this means your design layout should have the correct navigation items, titles. You don't have to write the content copy yet. You can greek it for now.) This time, create your refined layout in the computer. You can use any software you prefer.
